stromberg 2 barrel selection

hi. i need some guidance on selecting a 2bbl stromberg carb for a 230 engine i want to build. i have a dodge factory 2bbl intake manifold. it was from a car application. the car that it was used on had an automatic transmission and accordingly, the 'correct' carb would have a provision for an automatic transmission. can anyone guide me to a 2bbl stromberg that will fit and work with a standard trans? Also, how does the transmission part of the carb function?
