Nick; you will need to go to a old school tire shop or farm equipment shop to get someone to work on split rims. If you look at the picture Tom posted, you will see the ring extends 90 degrees to the outer tire ring (ring is kind of a "L" shape) you need to get the tire bead down past that point before you get your tire spoons to remove the ring or there will be no room for you to pry up the ring. And if it has any amount of rust it will make it more difficult.
