Believe it or not, I had a 1999 Ford crewcab with a 5.4 Triton...that thing never got less than 12mpg & it did lots of work. I put over 100k on it & never even changed the plugs before returning it...it was leased.
Probably the best deal I ever got on a truck. It was $279/month with zero down...2 year lease. I drove that thing trying to break it! :)
