Judd shared that truck all over the place and lots of people drooled over it. Then he sold it off for what I thought was a good price and the next couple owners also flipped it. I don't think the price went up that much as it moved around, but I might be wrong on that detail.

I think the biggest risk is showing a truck in its as found condition and then trying to get top dollar for it once you've corrected some minor cosmetic problems. Some folks will always remember the "ugly" version and stay away because of it. I'm not talking about restored vs unrestored, but as found vs minor repairs made.

Once the truck is in sales condition I don't see a down side to exposure as with a super nice truck you might start getting offers before you list it for sale and you might decide to take one of those offers.

But I don't sell a lot of whole trucks. Maybe there is an advantage to showing the truck off for the first time as you list it for sale?

Anyone tried the surprise reveal? Do you feel it effected the sale price?
