The ones I have been around with shear pins were all Dodges. This one came from an IH that was a City of Portland Water department rig with a water tank. It has a key way and was purchased new in '61.
The winch on our '57 TWPW had a shear pin which got sheared more than once although I think Dad just put in whatever he found that fit. So I am familiar with the pin and where it is.
I actually could have walked away with the winch for $0 but I felt guilty and tried to give $200. These were life long friends and ended up keeping $60 to split among 2 brothers just to make me feel better. It's not like either of them need it. =)
