Here is a picture of a Studebaker bed and you can see the body line on the drivers side translates to the inside body line on the passenger side. As it is white it is a little hard to see, but it is there. As for who made the bed I would not be surprised that it was made by an outside supplier. Do you have paperwork that proves it was Budd? Regardless of who stamped out the parts I am sure Dodge paid for the original tooling and since it was theirs they must have agreed to let Studebaker use it.

I will attach a shot of the Dodge bed in my next post.
