Maybe you should try making your own poison. Antifreeze is definitely toxic enough to kill rats. Maybe soaking grain in antifreeze for a couple of weeks, and leaving it out for the rats would be successful?
A weasel would work, but it might be as much mess as the rats. Imagine what it could leave around, after feasting on rats.
