I dont know how many dead mice were in a plain ole galvanized metal pail, maybe 3 gallon in the back of the shop where we just moved. Plain old bucket next to a stool, looked like it had some remnants of cracked corn in it from when the chicken coop was being used for chickens instead of my extra parts.
Went in after the corn and couldnt get out. The humane thing would be to check the bucket every now and then for live mice, then dispose of however you feel....
