they may do the bulk of the work cuz all forces are loaded forward when braking but seems you would want more braking power in the rear to compromise and to keep the rear from trying to swing to either side if the front is doing most of the braking

i notice truck tractors have no brakes up front

wonder if my 6x6 really needs brakes up front if they are boosted in the rear

my guess is it would be better to have them up front but just curious as to how necessary they would be

still don t have a handle on the way brakes should work front vs rear and if one needs to brake more than the other as everyone always mentions the prop. valve when operating a dual system? or is there a proportioning valve in a single circuit system
