After work yesterday i worked on my truck for several hours. I put the transmission in, hooked up the driveline and shift levers. I Pulled a clutch pedal off one of my part trucks. Turns out my pedal was bent because this other one bolts up quite nicely. So i still need to hook up the clutch linkage, put the right fender on. Prime the oil pump with oil by turning the motor over with no spark plugs, top off the fluids in the axles and put the floor back in. Im excited to be getting close. Hopefully everything goes smooth from here. After this every single thing will be new or rebuilt except the transfer case which works fine. Im really reluctant to add all my receipts from vintage power wagon. Over $15,000 for sure.
Surprisingly Vintage has never really acted as though i was a good customer. LOL one time i said "i got my credit card in this month looks like y'all had a really good month from me" ($6,000) They said thats good... that will help us keep the doors open" They do what say there going to do which i like. They have good quality parts at reasonable prices, the catalogue make it easy to order. but i don't think service is there strong suit but what do i care i get the parts i need and thats all that matters. But a Thank you for your business wouldn't go unappreciated :)
