Hey guys,
I was just sitting here eating lunch and browsing the forum. Just wanted Joe and all of you to know how great I feel to be a part of this community.
The Carryall is still sitting in the weeds but a plan has been hatched and put into motion to get the ball rolling. Ive got the little Nissan up for sale/trade and was shocked that the book on it was almost 5k...so I'm of course asking 70% of that. Got a couple deals in the making to trade for some donor parts. If I sell it outright I'll be looking for a first gen Cummins truck with a good frame and running gear and a bad body. Im considering gas too, but only with a 5 speed and fuel injection. Missed out on an '85 SRW 1 ton near topeka, had a TBI fuel injected mopar 383 with a 5 speed and divorced 205. Whole truck for $900...dam.
Figure if I draw a straight line from Manhattan to Duluth and look in the states on either side of the line Ill get lucky. May see me on a road trip later this winter. Steve...Ill keep you posted.
