Do not drive it until you get this fixed. If you cannot find a big block kickdown linkage at a junkyard get the Lokar kit like Dan H said. This linkage is not for just "passing gear" it controls line pressure in the transmission and you will slip very bad driving normal and have very erratic shifts and will burn up the transmission!
