I don't know the person or the situation, but when the person with the trucks wants them cleared out ASAP, and someone else puts out feelers to see if anyone wants him to try to buy some parts off of them before they're crushed, making any kind of deal to salvage anything is an impractical mess. It's like one of those things where somebody knows where there's something and will go talk to the owner if anyone else is interested. Trying to be a middleman without fronting any cash yourself rarely works.

If the guy who knows where they are wants to get into the parts business, he needs to just buy the trucks as cheap as he can and move them to property where he can take his time about parting them out. The current owner wants rid of them and is willing to take scrap value. The owner does not want to run a junk yard for some guy down the road who has a vague notion that he can negotiate a three-way deal for each part that somebody on the Internet thinks he might want.

Either buy them and move them and part them out, or tell us where they are, because the one part at a time idea is not going to work. And the best way to buy them is to show up in person with cash in hand, and a suitable hauling rig a phone call away. If they owner wanted them to sit there while somebody fumbled around trying to make some sort of complicated deal without the money or the means to pull it off, he wouldn't have called the scrappers.
