thanks for your thoughts on this--probably could fabriate a bracket fairly easy--just occurred to me to weld the front hangers to the bracket they are mounted on and reinforce with a pc of plate under the frame bolted to said bracket and also weld it to the hangers to give more support to their now fixed position--thus pretty much keeping a stock look and then buy two sets of offset hangers from vpw or fabricate some to hang off the stock rear bracket--.as i said don t know about welding the cast iron hangers--seems in the ole days it was a no no but now it s ok with special rods or some such
