Yup, agreed.
Plus the factory single front mount just looks better & less prone to wear or break.
But that said, the side mounts lasted since 1959 & I put them back in so maybe in 2059 they'll still be going strong...& quite likely since that truck doesn't have 10 miles on it since I finished it :)
