It is interesting to me that with snow we want tall and narrow with lugs, like the STA or Power King.
I found out on the beach the best tires were fat, low and soft without much in the way of lugs, ideally an aircraft baloon tire appearance .
THe power kings I was running did pretty well if I aired them down to 15 psi.
