I wouldn't be too quick to assume there isn't a leak. Some of the leaks can be pretty subtle.
When the master cylinder, or a connection to it leaks, it can drip onto the shield beneath it and never show. That area is hard to see.
Being the pedal doesn't pop back up, I would suspect master cylinder problems. if the return spring is O.K.
I would first check fluid level.
