Of being assinged to the Power Fire on the Stanislaus National Forest and Corral Complex on the Six Rivers National Forest, i demob tomorrow.
The USFS has rules of 14 or 21 day assignments. If you go past 21 days you need 2 days off then can go again for 14 or 21. CAL FIRE however does not have these rules, so the Feds are telling me I need two days off after Monday, however my shift starts Tuesday, Wed Thur. So I will head home Tuesday morning, to be on duty for three more days. And my engine is on the strike team list for the next assignment to the Rim fire near Yosemite! Nice, I wanna fight some real fire!!
I hope to get to Steve and Mike's places to get my rims, axle and 4.89 third members soon, but IF i get sent to the Rim fire, it may be at least another 21.
