Forward mount, reverse rotation, dog leg pitman arm?

Blazers have narrower frames, allowing mounting outside rather than on top. Same with Traildusters.

Still and all, I think on top of frame, forward location, M37 linkage would be the best of all worlds. It would allow freedom to locate the column anydamn place instead of aiming it at the low box, plus fee up space for a stock location dual master, maybe a hydroboost fits? Might allow leaving the battery alone.

Also, while you still need a reverse rotation box, easier to find boxes with mount tabs on different sides might be useable. There are some, but I have no 'interchange'. Some Ford E300 van I think? I swapped guts between boxes one to get the right mount on the left guts.
