I loooked over the system on my neighbor's Blazer- forward moint, w/ pitman shaft vertical, out side of frame. It is a readily available 'std rotation'. Looks easy enough, but the horizontal pitamn arm will interfere with the tire on rigth turns. These trucks have a large enough turning radius stock, no need to restrict right turns- or tear up expensive tires.\

PLUS, with the box above the frame, bump steer would be worse. Drag link needs to be level. So you need to add the M37 linkage to drop the drag link down to level. But maybe ypu can mount the box far enough outward to allow the battery to stay put.

So, either position you need a rev rot box, and in the front, you need m-37 linkage to cut down on bump steer.

Now I can't wait to see what a guy who uses a pipe plug for a radiator cap cobbles together for steering .
