Kind of neat - would be a cool woods vehicle, very nimble on the trail.
But, sitting in the woods that long in Maine, I wonder how bad the body and frame rot is? A friend bought an eastern Jeep TJ recently (which is newer than the one for sale) and when he looked closer at the frame, he found is was rusted through in places. He had to get a donor frame.
You are right, parts alone might make it work money wise.
