I wanted to put a 413 in it. I went to look at a 413 and bought the 540 from him. The 413 was just too long to fit. At least with my measurements, I couldn't find a way to make it fit without drastic changes. The bell housing was another issue. I would need a 413 truck bell housing to make it work. All in all, a 360 would be a lot easier conversion. That is what I'll do if I do it.
