I installed 4:89 gears in my B4 which now has a 251 engine. I am satisfied but to be honest, the taller gears requires much more down shifting on the hills of which I have a lot around my home. With the 2nd series gear box I find that its a pain since I occasionally class the gears. I vote for 4:89s but no taller from my experience.
