The Water distribution tube came out very easily. two or three pulls using a home made slide hammer. The tube looks like new. No rust or pitting. One thing my truck is 1965 which is much newer than say a 1947. Also my truck has been in a desert climate its entire life so it has very little rust. Im going to pressure wash the water jackets put new freeze plugs. Im now working on rebuilding the steering knuckles. Both have been disassembled and are ready for bearing swap.Im taking the engine to the machine shop and im going to get him to drill out the two studs from my manifold. I was going to reverse them out but if the reverse out tool breaks off im screwed because the metal is so hard. although the rest of the studs came out quite easy. VPW is rebuilding my clutch and pressure plate after that its reassembly.
