A friend of mine has a turbo rebuilding company. He bid on a big contract to rebuild turbos on Navy ships.
He found a salvage yard that had the turbos already rebuilt in crates. The salvage yard had bought them from the government as surplus Navy equipment.
My friend made a killing by just returning the rebuilt turbos to the Navy. He built a new shop building with the money he made.
