Start with the six bolts on the pressure plate. Remove clutch and pressure plate. Now you can see the bolts that hold the flywheel. Remove them, remove the flywheel. now you can get to the bolts that hold the bell housing. remove the bell housing, put it on your bench roll it around and replace the clutch arm bushings.
Go back to the engine and remove the pilot bearing if it is bad. Clean, inspect and reassemble. You won't be bothering the rear main seal doing any of this.
