I am having issues with the mechanical fuel pumps for my wc dodge. The engine was completely rebuilt using all new internals for Midwest military to include a new cam shaft. the whole fuel lines and hoses are new and the pump was rebuilt by Midwest. when I installed the first pump and tighten it up, the primer would not move. I turned the motor and the primer lever began to work. the truck would run if I used the primer handle, but no fuel when turning it over with the motor. I removed the pump and found the pump arm rod shaft was broke. I installed another pump and the trunk ran great for 5 minutes up and down the rpm's. started 3 or 4 times then quit. it runs when the primer was pumped but no fuel when turned over by the motor. removed again and this time the arm that rides on the cam was bent and cracked. I believe john is over playing in Europe so you guys have any ides? thanks in advance
