Thanks for the tips Glen. I was just out there looking at the welds. Trying to come up with a plan of attack. Fortunately, the welds are only on one side (the outside - toward the rear). I was thinking the same thing, I'll cut proud leaving material to grind down to the bed side and valance. I'll have a few days before the grinder arrives.
What discs do you recommend? So far, Walters Zip Discs and SAIT discs have been mentioned.
