I graduated High School in '78. My friends and I always laugh that we were born at the WRONG time for cars. The first oil crunch came, cars were all FUG-LY, horsepower was almost non-exsistant. Everything turned to plastic to keep the car's weight down. It was an awful time to want a car. SO - the UP side of that was the cars of the '60s were now about 10 years old and folks were selling/trading them. That was a BONUS.

Anyone hot after a 1978 Mercury Monarch??? How about an AMC Matador? No? I didn't think so.
