Exactly. Then you combine that with the reality that muscle cars aren't even as fast or powerful as a new car that a guy can just walk in & purchase yet it still gets about double the fuel economy...it tends to make the cool old muscle cars less special.
It's sad but that era is indeed over. There will still be guys paying big bucks for these cars for years yet but most will lose money owning them.
