I've been a heavy truck mechanic for 30 yrs and if I've learned anything it is patience. Deep breath, ck all for missed fastener, watch close when prying on it to see what flexes and where it is solid. Careful where the tip of the pry bar is. Maybe some lateral shots with a block of wood and a mallet.
