Nick ... I am very sorry for your loss. In my opinion, this is your time to morn. Don't rush your way through it and try to ignore the hurt. Eventually, you will want to find a different "buddy", but wait until you will not be comparing every action with how ACE would have acted in that circumstance. That is not fair to your new pet.
