like Tim said the bottom center nut is easy to miss. its the only port with 3 nuts. also there is 2 long studs (sometimes bolts) that pass through the exhaust manifold. If yours has the studs and you got the nuts off then it can get sstuck on the long studs. soaking and paitience. gradually work it off. I have had to work it out just enough to sawzall them off, then dirve them out once manifold is free.
