There are guys out there who got 1300 jumps in a career, and more. But they needed to be somewhere like a jump school, or jumpmaster school, or airborne testing unit. Even then, you are jumping 3 or 4 times a day, and not every day (the weather doesn't always cooperate, aircraft break, aircrew needs mandatory rest). Ask him when he went to jump school, and if he was a master parachutist. If he says he was a master parachutist, ask him when he went to jumpmaster school, and if he did it after he got his master wings. You can't get your master (or senior, which is next award below) parachutist badge awarded without jumpmaster school. If he says he went to jumpmaster school after he got his master or senior wings, he's full of it.

It's sort of like the guy who told me that he had 5000 hours as pilot-in-command of B-17's. You actually need a pilot's license to get that many hours and he didn't have one.
