Question: Why is the A-frame boom anchor point off-set and not centered (symetrical) in the mount?

Is it to allow greater clearance of the boom arm on one side?

Is it to move the anchor point forward or backward relative to the position of the mounting point in relation to the bumper or the winch? If so, is it mounted with the anchor point in the rear or forward position?

Or, could it simply be to make room for the part number in the casting?

I am thinking of mounting vertically on the heavy-duty Dean Moffit front bumpers to straddle the frame extensions with an L-bracket or reinforcing plate on either side. Wondering if it makes any difference which way I orient the off-set.
