After the guy told me to sandblast the cab and he figured 100 hours on it I changed direction bought some trucks with better parts. Learned to do some of my own work and painted My truck with Tractor paint as I was driving doing multiple things it did not make saense to put $10-15K in a paint job it is now 10 years later and I have decided to repaint it seems that agravates a lot of folks cause they like the dull faded patina it has achieved. I spent 110.00 including vbeer and painted it in a barn it took me and a budy too solid days to wetsand and prep the truck It looked great for 5 years and gradually the sun weathor and use took its toll. I think it will get painted again the same way as it is relly a tractor that goes down the highway and is a work truck with scars of past deeds and its history
for all the world to see. I dont want to cover that up with to much perfection just fresh covering to keep the rust at bay.
