Marty's pretty much nailed it on the head. Most here would be shocked of just the shop cost of some of the paint from the big name manufacturers. Go into a place that sells Dupont or PPG and ask for some prices, you'll find out quickly.

It boils down to what you want or need. To have a stunning paint job on a truck that will be mudded through the woods is kind of out there to me. I'd go with some paint from a farm store for tractors and get by cheap as it's going to get messed up quick anyway. You just have to decide what your desire for the truck is, FIRST.

On bodywork, hours add up quick and that is why Matt's beds are such a great option if you want something perfect. Sure, you can find a beat or rusted original but if you are paying for the work, forget it. You'd be well ahead to call Matt.
