The mechanical unit gave out on my M-37....just quit. From earlier posting, you'll know I had trouble fixing this. First my replacement pump was defective also, and then there was an obstructed hose from the stop cock to the pump. Both fixed now and it runs fine, but there were times when I thought it would be easier to put an electric pump in.
And one of my PWs does have an electric pump and it starts really fast, even after sitting all winter.
I guess in the end, I'd favor which ever is most reliable.....what do you guys think?
