All of the old dealership literature I have states that the MU2 on the Power-Wagon came factory equipped with 250 feet of 7/16 cable.

I had this on mine and it fits the drum with some room to spare. Just be sure to make straight pulls. Don't be pulling all off to one side and expect the whole 250 feet to fit on that one side of the drum.
