You'd be very surprised Todd. Of the P30 van's I was buying, (20 of them), several had to be driven from Hayward, CA to British Columbia...a 1000 mile journey. The van's weight 7000lbs & as you know, could be the only vehicle on the planet less aero dynamic than a Travco :)
Every van was almost identical...I mean seriously identical almost like they'd set the injection pump governors on a dyno or something?? Like I would pick up 3 trucks at a time...one on my trailer behind the truck & we'd drive 2 of them. If you were on the Interstate & wanted to pass the other guy...can't be done. We'd get on the highway, put our foot to the floor & they'd go 60mph...not 61 & not 59. 60mph uphill, downhill & we got 35mpg with those vans.
What more could anyone want out of a Motorhome?
My only complaint would be that you couldn't tow with the 4bt...she wouldn't have the power unless you lived in Kansas :)
