Here in our very small town, there was a guy who used to own a Texaco service station and a tire shop. He bought a new Corvette in 1953 or 1954. His business did well and he bought a new one every year for roughly 20 years. He also bought a DeLorean. All of them are extremely low mile vehicles. He used to put them all on display for the "Lost in the '50s" car show at the local Chevy dealership. He died about 10 years ago, and now his two sons are (not surprisingly) haggling over who gets what. I'm sure there are stories like this all over the world. I just happen to have seen known the owner and to have seen the cars.
