Took the 48 to my sisters house Sunday to pull out a few trees. There were 12 evergreens accross the front of her house that needed removal. They each had trunks about 6-7" accross. They were about 20-25 years old. I set up a snatch block for the pull and had to anchor the rear of the truck to the nearest tree because the truck was moving during the first pull. After hooking up the rear everything worked great. That old truck just idled as the winch worked to pull the trees out. After pulling them out we knocked the dirt off the stumps and cut them up before moving on to the next tree. My brother in law was inpressed. He did not think that the operation would go so smooth. This was the first real work this truck has done since I restored it. Mixed up some pravda and tonic to keep cool. Gave the 48 B1 a wash and some wax for a job well done.
