camo paint. O/T

has anyone ever done there own camo paint job. i have a 86 cucv that has no rust but the paint is old and faded. i dont want a $2000 paint job on it because i only use it as a work truck on weekends. i went to another website but it seams there more into telling you you didnt use a capital letter and a period rather than helping you with the problems you might have with one of these trucks. is it just 20 cans of brown-black-green spray paint and get to work. any thoughts
