Alot of trucks, cars come up for sale and you find out that the guy got the truck about 10 or so years ago and never had the title transferred in his name but has the title. He thinks thats fine your good to go. BUT today in my State of PA you need a copy of the owners drivers license to do the transfer. Well the old owner is long gone or in another State. SO getting that car or truck in your name is getting harder to do these days. If we are buying a parts truck no big deal but if you want to put it on the road good luck. To me that would change the value of the rig. Make sure you know what your getting into before you bring home a truck that is owned by Sam Jones in another State far away. He just might be gone.
