most of them are still good after 70 years! I consider them a good design. I used to work in the exhaust biz and did 100s of manifold jobs. 80 % of them were fords 15% chevies. ;/) oh yeah and toyota 4 cylinder cars and trucks from 70s and 80s. an occasional Dodge MH. almost all the fords were FE engines. good engine, terrible exhaust port design and terrible mileage.
