There is a cul de sac that the adjoining property to my backyard abuts. There is also a point between the houses back there that makes it possible to climb the wall. One day I saw a guy atop the wall being handed something by another in my back yard.
I hopped in my truck and raced around the block to the cul de sac and parked my truck in front of a Toyota stakebed with crap piled in the back. Sure enough they were trying to hoist a Packard 120 radiator and a PW radiator into the bed when I spoiled their fun. I took pictures of them and their truck and my radiators in the truck and then they ran off leaving their truck behind. When the sheriffs arrived I told them I would be retrieving my radiators before they impounded the truck. After looking at the pics I recognized one of the guys as my neighbors gardener. I haven't seen him since. Or the memory card with the pics I gave to the deputy.
I have since planted a bogainvillea at the point of access to discourage other trespassers.
