It will NOT lock while the truck is in HIGH gear. It must be in LOW gear.
After the truck is in low, rotate the knob to REAR LOCK. You need to drive around, turn, or go backwards/forwards till the everything lines up to enable it to lock. The light will go from flashing to solid when this happens. Now rotate the knob to FRONT LOCK and do the same.
DO NOT do this on pavement. You will not be able to turn the steering wheel with all 4 wheels locked and could damage parts attempting to do so.
All of this information is contained in the Power Wagon owner's manual that was never printed and never given to the truck owner. Who made that decision? Probably the same guy that thought the Dodge Trucks name wasn't good enough and changed it to Ram.
