about once a year I will give my truck a good drink of good fuel, will put in 10 gal of 115 racing gas. it will start better, run better, and mine runs about 20 degrees cooler!! cleans the carbon out of the chambers and in general is like a tonic for old engines. any engine, no matter the compression ratio, loves octane. so go ahead and give the old girl a treat, she will like you for it!!
