call your insurance broker and see if you have coverage for product liability. in my business, trucking, i always call my broker and ask if we have coverage whenever we incur a loss. sometimes there is coverage in a policy that we are unaware of, or we are entitled to if the broker takes the initiative to help. a good insurance is worth his weight in gold.
