Just read your post below. Checking with a piece of wire is not going to tell you much. You need to pull the water distribution tube to get an accurate assessment of it. The slots in the water distribution tube are fairly small. You'd be pretty lucky to find the slots in the back are not clogged given the other things you have found on this truck.
